Step into a world where stories and flavors intertwine. Michelle Washington Wilson will explore the historical roots of traditional African American foodways and how these culinary traditions traveled from the South to the North during The Great Migration, shaping "Soul Food." She will teach us how to enhance storytelling skills by combining rich cultural narratives and food traditions.

Michelle Washington Wilson is a celebrated and extraordinary Storyteller, Chef, Teaching Artist, and Folklorist. Her captivating storytelling and culinary expertise will transport you back in time.

Members of the NJ Storytelling Guild ($30) can attend for free. Non-members can purchase a ticket ($20). Zoom links will be sent to ticket holders shortly before the event.
