Storytelling at the Provincetown Playhouse-Fish Out of Agua

Provincetown Plhse FLYER.jpg

Michele Carlo, a redheaded, freckle-faced Puerto Rican raised in an Italian/Irish Bronx neighborhood, grew up as a double-outsider: too “white” for some of her family and a mystery to nearly everyone else. By turns heartbreaking and hilarious, her search for identity unfolds like a runaway #6 train amid the backdrop of a long-gone New York City. Adapted from Michele's 2010 memoir Fish Out Of Agua: My life on neither side of the (subway) tracks.

Appropriate for  adults and youth 13 and older.
