En el Camino ~“Desplazado” is the correct word to define a migrant: a person forced off their land, away from their culture. For Mexican storyteller Valentina Ortiz, migration started at age two. As she walked the paths of the world she learned to love, laugh, cry, sing, and tell her stories. “En el Camino~Stories of Love and Migration” will take you from the child faced with the learning of several languages to the grown woman who whispers to her plastic pet alligator as she roams the streets of New York.
