In this two hour interactive workshop, participants will explore the rhythms inside stories, characters, and themselves. Rhythm is the dances in the current of a river, flows through each breath we take, and lives inside every story we tell. When we understand and embrace rhythm we can change the meaning, genre, and effectiveness in our performances and story creations. Join Storyteller Rivka Willick in this innovative and exciting workshop. Wear comfortable clothes. We will end the workshop with a traditional drum circle (drums will be provided but if you have your own drum please bring it.) After this workshop you’ll understand that Gershwin song in a whole new way. “We all got rhythm!”
All welcome. $10 admission for non-members. The workshop takes place at 7 pm September 11th.
