New Jersey Storytelling Guild: Using Sound in Story, Workshop with Rivka Willick

Rivka Willick returns for Part 2 of her Rhythm & Sound in Story Workshop.  Last year we explored ways to infuse and become aware of rhythms in storytelling, not let’s add some sound. We will play with natural sounds and use various simple instruments, sound effects, and sound tools in several storytelling exercises.  We will end the workshop with a “Story-Drum Circle”. Participants are invited to bring a short traditional tale to tell as part of the circle.  Drums and sound tools will be provided; however participants may also bring their own drums and noisy things.
